Songs

Songs are an important part of the Earthplace Nursery School experience! We love to learn new songs about the seasons, animals, weather, favorite nursery rhymes, and holidays. Learning and singing songs provides a chance to move/dance, rhyme, to learn about rhythm, and enrich the learning experience by supplementing the classroom curriculum with additional knowledge. It creates a feeling of community within the school and amongst the extended family members. We have decided to post the lyrics and melody for songs commonly sung at Earthplace because we understand it is sometimes hard to figure out exactly what your children are singing. Please enjoy reading and singing these songs with your families!

Oats Peas Beans

Start with Chorus – Walking around the circle. During the chorus you can also march, tiptoe, etc.

1.First the farmer plants the seeds
